About Us

I am so proud to be the Principal of Clemens Crossing Elementary! I grew up in the Clemens Crossing neighborhood and attended Atholton High School. It is exciting to serve the community that I called home for so many years! I have worked for HCPSS for 29 years as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I was a teacher at Bollman Bridge Elementary and Hollifield Station Elementary. 19 of my years in education have been as a school-based administrator at Waterloo Elementary, Phelps Luck Elementary, and Clemens Crossing Elementary. I truly enjoy being part of the CCES community and working with such amazing staff, students and families! I look forward to partnering with you for your child's success.

I am excited to be the Assistant Principal at Clemens Crossing Elementary. I am a product of the Howard County Public School System having graduated from Oakland Mills High School. This will be my 21st year in the field of education. I have held many jobs as an educator: first grade teacher, team leader, Title I Interventionist, Reading Specialist, Reading Support Teacher, and Leadership Intern. I believe all students can be successful through individualized instruction and support ensuring everyone gets what they need. I value building relationships with students, staff, and families, and I look forward to getting to know the Clemens Crossing community. Outside of school, I love reading and spending time with my husband, 13- year-old son, 10-year-old daughter, and our dog.
